Role Designation: Hybrid with a requirement to go into our Markham office once or twice a month. 

 

Job Description 

In this role, you will partner with business stakeholders to transform complex data into actionable insights that drive customer-focused and data-driven decisions across Operations. You will work at the intersection of analytics and business strategy—breaking down problems, identifying trends, and delivering clear recommendations that influence operational efficiency and performance. 

You’ll play a key role in a new and evolving space, supporting initiatives such as the launch and optimization of Allstate’s direct sales channels. By combining strong analytical thinking, storytelling, and technical expertise, you will help shape how data is used to guide decisions, improve customer experience, and uncover new opportunities for growth. 

 

Accountabilities: 

  • Analyze structured and unstructured data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and key business drivers 

  • Translate business questions into structured analysis, delivering actionable insights and recommendations 

  • Develop dashboards, reports, and scorecards to monitor performance and support decision-making 

  • Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, align priorities, and provide consultative analytics support 

  • Assess performance against targets, identify variances, and recommend data-driven solutions to improve outcomes 

  • Forecast operational volumes and provide insights to support workforce planning and business strategy 

  • Build compelling data stories and visualizations to communicate insights effectively to diverse audiences 

  • Lead and deliver analytics projects of moderate complexity, including defining timelines, priorities, and deliverables 

  • Contribute to continuous improvement by enhancing analytical methodologies, processes, and reporting capabilities 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights 

  • Demonstrated experience working with data visualization and analytics tools such as Power BI and Adobe Analytics 

  • Proficiency in Excel, including working with large datasets, pivot tables, and ad hoc analysis 

  • Ability to translate data into clear, compelling narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences 

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence decision-making 

  • Experience gathering requirements and working in a consultative, business-facing analytics role 

  • Familiarity with data querying or programming languages (e.g., SQL, DAX, or similar) is an asset 

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment 

  • Curiosity and a proactive mindset, with a passion for exploring data and uncovering insights

Compensation

Expected compensation for this role ranges from $ 73,500.00 - 116,850.00 annually.  Actual salary offered to successful candidates will vary based on their skills and experience.
