About this role

Job Summary

 Expert-Level Support & Troubleshooting: Provide Tier 3 (L3) support for complex network security incidents and problems, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal business impact. This includes deep dive troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and collaboration with other IT teams and vendors. • Palo Alto Networks Management: o Configuration & Administration: Design, implement, configure, and manage Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFWs), including security policies, App-ID, User-ID, Content-ID, URL filtering, threat prevention, VPNs (IPSec, SSL), and GlobalProtect. o Panorama Management: Administer and optimize Panorama for centralized management of Palo Alto Networks firewalls. o Advanced Features: Implement and troubleshoot advanced features like Wildfire, SSL decryption, and various security profiles. o Upgrades & Patches: Plan, test, and execute firmware/software upgrades and patches for Palo Alto Networks devices. • Knowledge of protocols BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, SPT, TRUNKS, VLANs, Port-Channel, Static routing • Palo Alto Command line\\Cisco ASA Command Line\\Sophos\\SonicWALL\\Palo Alto Prisma as well • A high level of Palo Alto expertise in design, configuration, migrations, tuning and customization of features • Thorough knowledge of Panorama, Wildfire, Global Protect, and other Palo Alto features including and not limited to SSL decryption • Familiarity with Data Centre environment and hosted deployments/cloud. • Experience with Wireshark or other protocol analyzers. • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal. • Must be flexible to work outside of business hours as per business requirements. • Experience in a multi-vendor network security environment. • Familiarity with Data Center environments and hosted deployments/cloud. • Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools and processes (e.g., ServiceNow). • Needs to be able to remain calm under pressure and ensure a logical thought process. Job Summary : • Maintain the client’s security and networking devices and upgrade when necessary • Providing support for other engineers on PA equipment/software • Cross train in-house to share knowledge and share work load • Provide pre-sales support on client projects. This includes documentation designed and installation rollouts • Provide support to project managers on security/network deployments • Responding to emergency situations and performing effective troubleshooting during production outages. • Knowledge and experience installing and supporting Palo Alto Security Appliances. • Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer PCNSE certification preferred.
