You will...
- Manage the full accounts payable cycle - invoice review, coding, approvals, and payment processing to ensure all payments are made on time; own vendor communications and resolve billing or payment issues. Assist with accounts receivable.
- Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including the close calendar and task tracking.
- Support and maintain the monthly consolidation schedules.
- Prepare analytics and supporting schedules for the month-end close review.
- Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaid expenses, and reclassifications.
- Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate variances.
- Assist with audit preparation, including supporting schedules and documentation.
- Help maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Collaborate with FP&A, HR, purchasing and other teams to support reporting and operational needs.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and system enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of accounting experience (public accounting or high-growth company experience a plus).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP fundamentals.
- Experience with month-end close and account reconciliations.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups, formulas).
- Experience with accounting systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks or Ramp is a plus.
- Experience in integrating AI tools into day-to-day operations.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

- Experience in a technology, SaaS, or startup environment.
- Exposure to audits, SOX, or internal controls.
- Experience with AP tools, expense systems, or close management software.
