Job Description:

Job Summary:


Advisory and research role for Louisiana Sea Grant including work with commercial blue industry. Provide institutional knowledge, partnerships, and feedback with research needs across the northshore coastal communities.


Job Responsibilities:


- Provide advice and/or training to Sea Grant on education programs, competitive research projects, and the commercial fishing industries (35%)

- Facilitate coordination between Louisiana Sea Grant with partners and federal agencies like Adopt a Pond (35%)

- Work with director to explore MEP needs. Assist in projects like videos to capture institutional knowledge (25%)

- Other duties as assigned (5%)


Minimum Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree & 7 years related experience.

Master's degree, 20 years experience & experience with the Louisiana crab industry and water quality
