We are actively seeking for a highly motivated Sea Freight Operator, with passion for logistics and efficient cargo management, to join our Sea Freight Forwarding team in Piraeus.

The Sea Freight Operator will be responsible for managing and coordinating all ocean freight shipments end-to-end, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant execution of import and export operations.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure readiness for sea freight import/export shipments by verifying documentation and shipment details.
• Coordinate bookings with trucking companies, agents, and correspondents, providing accurate delivery instructions to carriers, and preparing/loading notes as necessary.
• Ensure accuracy within the company’s ERP system (Orian).
• Generate and distribute required road freight documents, such as delivery orders.
• Oversee the issuance and management of invoices related to road freight shipments.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with customers and suppliers.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Team spirit and collaboration mindset.
• Advanced business writing and oral skills both in Greek and English.
• Proficiency in Orian ERP will consider a plus.
• Advanced MS Office skills.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration or other related fields.
• 2-3 years previous experience in sea freight forwarding, operations or relevant position.
