Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly effective Senior Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery practices across multiple software development teams building enterprisescale products hosted on Microsoft Azure. The Senior Scrum Master serves as a servant leader Agile coach and delivery facilitator helping teams achieve predictable highquality outcomes while fostering a culture of continuous improvement collaboration transparency and accountability. This role partners with Product Managers, Product Owners, Engineering Leads, Architects, UX teams, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of customer value.

The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in Agile methodologies experience supporting complex cloudbased software products and a working knowledge of Artificial Intelligence AI technologies and AI-enabled delivery practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Agile Leadership Team Coaching
  • Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile development teams.
  • Coach teams on Scrum principles Agile values and continuous improvement practices.
  • Foster selforganizing highperforming teams focused on delivering customer value.
  • Promote transparency inspection and adaptation across teams and stakeholders.
  • Guide teams in iterative and incremental development approaches to improve predictability and reduce delivery risk.
  • Mentor other Scrum Masters and contribute to Agile maturity initiatives across the organization.
  • These responsibilities align with established Scrum Master expectations of coaching teams facilitating Agile practices and enabling continuous improvement.
• Scrum Facilitation:
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily StandUps, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, Backlog Refinement Sessions.
  • Ensure ceremonies are effective outcome-focused and aligned to business priorities.
• Release Planning Activities:
  • Maintain healthy team dynamics and encourage constructive collaboration.
  • Drive action-item completion resulting from retrospectives and team improvement initiatives.
  • Hosting key Scrum ceremonies while maintaining neutrality is a defined Scrum Master responsibility.
• Delivery Excellence:
  • Help teams consistently deliver highquality software increments.
  • Track progress toward sprint release and program objectives.
  • Identify delivery risks dependencies and impediments early.
  • Facilitate resolution of blockers impacting team outcomes.
  • Support planning across multiple workstreams and product teams.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure teams have welldefined and prioritized backlogs.
  • Enable effective coordination across Azurebased product platforms shared services and engineering teams.
• AzureBased Product Delivery:
  • Support Support Agile planning for cloudnative software delivery initiatives.
  • Develop sufficient understanding of Microsoft Azure environments to effectively support engineering delivery.
  • Work with engineering and DevOps teams to understand deployment schedules release dependencies infrastructure constraints and platform risks.
  • Facilitate collaboration between development QA architecture security and operations teams.
• AI-Enabled Delivery:
  • Practices Promote effective use of AI-assisted development and delivery tools.
  • Facilitate planning and delivery of AI-powered product features.
  • Help teams adopt AI-enabled practices that improve productivity quality and flow efficiency.
  • Understand the impact of AI-generated code, AI agents, and intelligent automation on software delivery processes.
  • Encourage responsible AI adoption and continuous learning across delivery teams.
  • Support teams in balancing AI acceleration with governance quality security and compliance requirements.
  • Internal guidance highlights evolving Scrum Master responsibilities that focus on bottlenecks, AI-human handoffs, and flow efficiency within AI-enabled delivery organizations.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Communicate delivery status risks dependencies and improvement opportunities.
  • Facilitate alignment between technical and business priorities.
  • Support portfolio program and release planning activities.
  • Build trusted relationships with Product Managers, Product Owners, Engineering Leads, Architects, and business stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• Education
  • Equivalent experience may be considered; Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Business Engineering or related field.
• Experience
  • 8 years of experience in Agile software development environments.
  • 5 years serving as a Scrum Master for software engineering teams
  • Experience supporting enterprise software product development
  • Experience facilitating delivery across multiple Agile teams.
