Als Scientist (m/w/d) für chemische und physikalische Charakterisierung/Analytik in Berlin arbeiten Sie eng mit interdisziplinären R&D‑Teams, der Qualitätssicherung und dem Process Engineering zusammen, um analytische Methoden zur Materialcharakterisierung, Qualitätskontrolle und Fehleranalyse zu entwickeln, durchzuführen und zu optimieren. Ihr Arbeitsalltag umfasst die Anwendung anspruchsvoller analytischer Techniken, die Auswertung komplexer Datensätze sowie die enge Zusammenarbeit mit internen Stakeholdern, um Produktleistung und Prozesszuverlässigkeit sicherzustellen.

Ihre Verantwortung

  • Durchführung analytischer Untersuchungen zur Qualitätskontrolle, Prozessüberwachung und Ursachenanalyse bei technischen Problemen
  • Charakterisierung von Additiven und Identifizierung unbekannter Verbindungen unter Verwendung modernster Analysetechniken
  • Auswertung und Interpretation von Analysedaten sowie Dokumentation der Ergebnisse in Übereinstimmung mit internen und behördlichen Standards
  • Entwicklung, Optimierung und Validierung von Analysemethoden in Ihrem Zuständigkeitsbereich
  • Effektive Kommunikation der Ergebnisse durch Präsentationen, Berichte und mögliche wissenschaftliche Veröffentlichungen
  • Aufrechterhaltung des Laborbetriebs, einschließlich der Betriebsbereitschaft der Geräte, der Koordination der Wartung, der Bestandsverwaltung und der Beschaffung

Ihre Fähigkeiten und Kompetenzen

  • Ein Studium der Chemie, Promotion erforderlich
  • Erste praktische Erfahrung in Synthese und Analyse organischer Verbindungen, z. B. aus Forschung oder Industrie
  • Spezialisierung in organischer Analytik, insbesondere chromatographischen Verfahren (z. B. GC, HPLC) gekoppelt mit massenspektrometrischen Techniken (z. B. LC‑MS, HR-LC-MS), inklusive sicherem Umgang mit entsprechender Auswertesoftware
  • Fundierte technische Expertise in chemischer Analytik und ein solides Verständnis der für den Verantwortungsbereich relevanten Methoden
  • Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift für die Arbeit in einem internationalen Umfeld
  • Ausgeprägtes analytisches Denkvermögen, hohe Motivation und Begeisterung für Laborarbeit
  • Hervorragende organisatorische Fähigkeiten, Teamgeist und Kommunikationsstärke sowie ein professionelles Auftreten
  • Bereitschaft zu nationalen und internationalen Reisen, wenn erforderlich
