SOHO team is responsible for sanction screening of supporting documentation for EMEA countries. The Sanction Screening Junior Analyst of Supporting Documentation is a role responsible for capturing and screening elements in documentation provided by Clients in line with regulations, and to act as an expert in process of screening supporting documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure transactions are processed efficiently

  • Handle ad-hock requests such as data analysis, preparation of reports etc.

  • Participation in tests of applications scheduled outside of working hours

  • Cooperation and daily communication with other Citi branches globally

  • Extraction and classification of data from supplementary documentation in accordance with sanctions regulations and Citi standards

  • Disposition of sanction matches in accordance with sanctions regulations and Citi standards

  • Participate in projects and initiatives, take part in regular courses

Qualifications:

  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English (minimum B2 level)

  • Understanding of sanction policies/regulations as well as being up to date with international relations and sanctions in general will be an advantage

  • A keen eye for detail combined with ability to read the context of a given document, analytical skills

  • Demonstrated capability to work effectively within a team environment

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and data entry skills

  • Ability to work under time pressure and in constantly changing environment

  • Readiness to work during public holidays

  • Russian or French language knowledge will be an additional asset
