JOB DESCRIPTION :

We are seeking talented Ruby on Rails Developers to join high-performing product engineering teams delivering scalable and innovative software solutions. The successful candidates will work closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment focused on quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

This opportunity is ideal for engineers who embrace AI-assisted development and leverage modern productivity tools to deliver high-quality software efficiently. Our teams actively use Claude Code and expect developers to be comfortable incorporating AI into their daily engineering workflows while maintaining strong software development standards.

We are hiring for:

  • Senior Ruby on Rails Backend Developers
  • Senior Full-Stack Developers (Ruby on Rails & React)

 

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using Ruby on Rails.
  • Build and enhance RESTful APIs and backend services.
  • Develop and maintain modern user interfaces using React.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to deliver business value.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in production and development environments.
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools, including Claude Code, to improve engineering productivity while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, automation, and engineering best practices.
  • Work effectively within Agile development teams.
 
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience developing applications with Ruby on Rails.
  • Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and design patterns.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a distributed team.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality software in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using AI-powered coding assistants and development tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with React and modern front-end development.
  • Experience working with TypeScript and JavaScript frameworks.
  • Experience with cloud-based environments and modern DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
  • Experience with Snowflake is considered a strong asset.
  • Experience building AI-enabled products or supporting AI-related initiatives is an asset.
  • Previous experience acting as a technical leader or mentoring other developers is an asset.
