About this role
Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, motors, gearboxes). Conduct equipment inspections, vibration analysis, and alignment checks. Dismantle, repair, and reassemble mechanical components including bearings, seals, shafts, and couplings. Carry out precision measurements using micrometers, dial gauges, and laser alignment tools. Assist in root cause analysis of equipment failures and recommend corrective actions. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, spare parts usage, and equipment history. Ensure compliance with safety standards, permit-to-work systems, and company HSE policies. Support commissioning and testing of rotating equipment after maintenance or installation. Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to improve equipment reliability and performance. Familiarity with vibration monitoring systems and condition-based maintenance. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and equipment manuals. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
