To ensure guest rooms and assigned areas are cleaned, maintained, and presented to the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and hygiene, while delivering warm and personalized service in line with Anantara standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and assigned areas according to hotel standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Ensure guest rooms are properly prepared and presented before guest arrival.

• Make beds, replenish amenities, linen, towels, and other room supplies as required.

• Check room facilities and report any maintenance issues or defects to the relevant department promptly.

• Respond to guest requests in a polite, professional, and timely manner.

• Respect guest privacy and maintain strict confidentiality at all times.

• Handle lost and found items according to hotel procedures.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping equipment, trolleys, and work areas.

• Follow all health, hygiene, safety, and chemical-handling procedures.

• Minimize wastage of amenities, cleaning materials, and other hotel resources.

• Coordinate with Housekeeping Supervisors and other departments to ensure smooth room operations.

• Attend daily briefings, training sessions, and departmental meetings as required.

• Support colleagues and other Housekeeping functions when necessary to ensure excellent guest service.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Certificate/Diploma in Hospitality or Hotel Management is an advantage.

• Previous experience as a Room Attendant or Housekeeping Attendant, preferably in an international or luxury hotel.

• Good understanding of room cleaning procedures, hygiene standards, and housekeeping operations.

• Basic English communication skills are preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

• Service-minded, friendly, honest, and reliable personality.

• Good teamwork and communication skills.

• Physically fit and able to perform tasks involving prolonged standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive movements.

• Willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
