About this role

The Robot Service Technician is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and testing robotic equipment, including TLM Robots and Manual Pedestrian Markers. The role involves identifying mechanical and electrical faults and restoring equipment to a safe and fully operational condition. The successful candidate will work within the repair workshop, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Full training will be provided.


Main Responsibilities

  • Inspect, diagnose and repair TLM Robots and Manual Pedestrian Markers.
  • Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Identify and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults.
  • Replace defective components, including motors, sensors, controllers and cables.
  • Test repaired equipment to ensure functionality, reliability and performance.
  • Calibrate robotic equipment and verify accuracy following repairs.
  • Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation.
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, drawings and manufacturer guidance.
  • Use diagnostic software and testing equipment to identify and resolve faults.
  • Ensure workshop tools and equipment are maintained in a safe and serviceable condition.
  • Comply with company policies, health and safety requirements, and quality standards.
  • Support continuous improvement activities within the workshop.
  • Communicate repair findings and recommendations to supervisors and other stakeholders as required.

  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools and measuring equipment safely and effectively.

  • Ability to organise workload and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and undertake training.

Qualifications

  • A relevant technical, engineering or mechanical qualification is advantageous but not essential.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a workshop, repair, engineering, manufacturing or maintenance environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Experience using hand tools and basic diagnostic equipment is desirable.
  • Full training will be provided by both the employer and the manufacturer.
  • The successful candidate will be required to attend manufacturer training in Denmark when necessary, including periodic refresher training.
