Founded in 1887, Dignity Health - California Hospital Medical Center is a 318-bed, acute care, nonprofit hospital located in downtown Los Angeles, California. Serving over 100,000 patients annually, the hospital offers a full complement of services including a Level II Trauma Center, Level III NICU, heart care, women’s health, and a family birth center. In 2025, we opened our new patient tower, Grand Tower, featuring a dramatically expanded Emergency Department and Family Birth Center that will increase patient comfort and privacy.

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal health-care professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery.Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. - Provides effective and comprehensive evidence based nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes.
- Completes patient assessments competently.
- Completes an individualized plan of care based on assessment of the patient.
- Implements interventions based on nursing and medical plans of care.
- After implementation, reassesses the patient to verify effectiveness of interventions.
- Demonstrates the ability to recognize and adapt to changes in patients' condition.
Job Requirements
Required
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California
- One (1) year ICU acute care experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification - American Heart Association
- Basic or Advanced Dysrhythmia Certification
- Crisis Prevention Institute Training (within 90 days from date of hire)
- LA City Fire Safety Training (within 90 days from date of hire)
