Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery.Every day you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans.   • Utilizes the nursing process to identify and meet the needs of the patients.
  • Identifies changes in patient's condition and intervenes appropriately.
  • Provides patient care for a given patient assignment, either as a primary caregiver or by delegating and supervising as a team leader.
  • Works collaboratively with physician. Reviews orders. Reports abnormal lab values and significant changes in patient findings.
  • Works collaboratively with patients and family to establish a plan of care, which would include an assessment of psychosocial needs.
  • Complies with all mandatory reporting requirements.

Job Requirements

Required:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing
  • 3-5 years clinical experience in a Women's Health environment
  • Registered Nurse: CA
  • Basic Life Support - CPR
  • Demonstrates ability to work within a team model of patient-care delivery.

  • Demonstrates proficient basic nursing skills and specialty skills.

  • Demonstrates knowledge of the nursing process and the ability to apply these principles appropriately.

  • Demonstrates a caring, compassionate attitude toward others.

  • Relates with patients/visitors empathetically and tactfully.

  • Demonstrates ability to organize and prioritize work efficiently.

  • Demonstrates clear, effective written and oral English skills, and objective active-listening skills.

  • Demonstrates ability to delegate appropriate patient care tasks, duties, etc. to other team members.

  • Ability and willingness to actively participate in process improvement activities.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with others across all departments.

  • Reacts calmly and efficiently in emergencies.

  • Collaborates and provides leadership with patient-care team.

  • Maintains effective relationships with coworkers and medical staff.

 

Preferred:

  • Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written English and Spanish, clearly, concisely and accurately.
