We are seeking an experienced RF engineer to join our dynamic team and make a significant impact on wireless communication systems. As an RF Propagation and Modeling Engineer, you will play a vital role in developing and validating RF propagation models, ensuring optimal coverage and capacity for our clients. - Develop and calibrate RF propagation models for Wi-Fi, 5G NR, and NTN bands.
- Conduct propagation studies, evaluating path loss, fading, and atmospheric effects.
- Generate wireless coverage predictions and heatmaps for various scenarios.
- Analyze RF coverage and perform capacity planning for industrial and mission-critical systems.
- Model and optimize end-to-end throughput performance under different RF conditions.
- Design wireless networks to meet coverage, capacity, and throughput objectives.
- Build and maintain simulation environments for propagation analysis.
- Conduct field surveys and validate propagation models with measurement data.
- Develop automation tools for RF analysis and data visualization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including RF design and systems engineering.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Telecom/Wireless Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Physics.
- 5+ years of experience in RF engineering, propagation modeling, or wireless network planning.
- Expertise in electromagnetic wave propagation, RF fundamentals, and antenna theory.
- Proficiency in Python and MATLAB for programming and analytics tasks.
- Experience with Wi-Fi, 5G NR, NTN, and mission-critical wireless technologies.
- Knowledge of RF planning tools and GIS mapping systems is an asset.
- Familiarity with geospatial analysis, digital terrain modeling, and LiDAR-based propagation analysis techniques.
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex RF data.
- Excellent technical communication and documentation abilities.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering teams and customer-facing roles.
