RF/ Analog Hardware Engineer
About this role
Based in headquarters in Athens, the RF/ Analog Hardware Engineer will be a team member of the “RF & Microwave” Section (R&D), responsible for testing and designing boards incorporating RF & analog blocks such as ADCs, DACs, VCXOs, PLL, mixers, filters, opamps, etc.
These boards-subcircuits are incorporated into innovative packet microwave & millimeter-wave Radio Systems, used, among others, in mobile backhaul transport of 4G/5G networks and in Fixed Wireless Access broadband systems (FWA).
- University degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- In depth understanding of analog and digital design concepts / techniques
- Solid background in high-speed mixed signal design with building blocks such as ADCs, DACs, VCXOs, PLL, mixers, filters, opamps and the related digital control and signal conditioning circuits
- Good understanding of RF transceiver architectures
- Experience in measurements using instruments such as Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, RF & signal generators, Vector Analyzers etc.
- Experience in circuit simulation (ex. Genesys, Spice etc.)
- Very good Knowledge of English (oral & written)
Desired technical skills:
- Hands-on experience in Mixed signal design & debugging
- RF circuit design
- Knowledge of fundamental digital signal processing blocks (DUCs, DDCs etc.)
- Familiarity with data interface protocols such as spi, serdes, jesd etc.
- Experience with schematic tools and PCB layout techniques.
- Matlab
- Python
