Responsibilities:

As an Assistant Store Manager in Havre, MT.,   you'll be the heartbeat of our Havre store! Here's what your day-to-day adventure looks like:

• Create Magic for Our Guests: Craft unforgettable customer experiences that keep folks coming back and leave them smiling—we're talking exceeding expectations on the regular!
• Drive Sales with Passion: Channel your enthusiasm into generating sales and building genuine connections with our community. Your energy is contagious, and our customers will feel it!

• Keep the Ship Running Smooth: Maintain store standards, safeguard company assets, and keep everything operating like a well-oiled machine.

• Bring Your A-Game: Work all scheduled shifts between Mon-Sat 7am-7pm and Sun 9am-5pm. As a manager, expect to log 50+ hours weekly—we're a busy, thriving operation! You'll embrace weekends, holidays, and flexible scheduling based on what our business needs.
• Outdoor Knowledge Bonus: Leverage your working knowledge of outdoor recreation, farm and ranch, animal health, tools, and hardware to connect authentically with our guests.

Qualifications

• Willingness to share credit, work with others in a team environment, and define success collectively rather than individually

• Ability to work independently or in a group setting
• Committed to supplying our North 40 guests with phenomenal customer service
• Good communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with individuals on a regular basis

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment while remaining detailed and focused
• Position specific for category
• Ability to work well with others, lead, motivate and empower a team
• Sales experience, merchandising, and computer skills a plus
• Committed to providing feedback, developing others, and making decisions under ambiguity
• A willingness to lead by example
• Resolving team issues in a timely and professional manner
• Ability to delegate and assign tasks appropriately
• Skilled in leadership, sales generation, strategic planning, business acumen, time management and general retail software proficiency
• Willingness to relocate if needed
• Understanding of correct lifting and loading techniques.  Physical ability to lift and carry 0-15 lbs. continuously, 15-50 lbs. frequently, and 50-55 lbs. occasionally, and team lift anything over 55 lbs.  Spending 100% of work time on your feet, including use of ladders, rolling staircases and pallet jacks.
