The Restaurant Host will be the face of the dining establishment, welcoming guests with warmth and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience from entry to seating. This role is key to maintaining high standards of customer service and efficient restaurant operations in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly and courteous manner
- Manage reservations and walk-in guests efficiently to optimize seating arrangements
- Coordinate with the wait staff and kitchen to ensure timely seating and service
- Provide information about the menu, daily specials, and answer guest inquiries
- Handle guest concerns professionally and ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and lobby area
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Host, Hostess, or similar role preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Positive attitude with a genuine passion for customer service
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
