Launch your career in bioprocessing innovation as a Biological Sciences/Bioengineering Intern at Isolere Bio. Join the Donaldson team at our Durham, NC site where you'll help evaluate and optimize small-scale purification protocols for IsoTag reagents that support the development of advanced bioprocessing solutions. In this hands-on laboratory role, you'll perform analytical testing using techniques, transforming experimental data into meaningful insights. Your work will directly contribute to improving product performance and process understanding, while giving you the opportunity to present findings to both technical and business audiences. Qualified candidates must be able to work an on-site schedule at our Durham, NC facility. 


Role Responsibilities:

  • Test and evaluate small scale purification protocol of IsoTag reagents
  • Perform analytics to evaluate data including SDS-PAGE, ELISA, UV Vis, etc.
  • Compile, interpret, and present results to a range of audiences

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled undergraduate at an accredited university pursuing a bachelor's degree in any of the following: biology, biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, chemistry, or related major.
  • Experience with pipetting.
  • Physical requirements consistent with moving around in a wet laboratory, lifting no more than 30 pounds.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous wet laboratory experience through coursework, research, internships, or professional experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn, take initiative, and develop new technical skills.
  • Experience analyzing and interpreting data through coursework, projects, research, internships, or previous employment.
  • Experience with laboratory techniques such as SDS-PAGE, ELISA, and UV-Vis spectroscopy.



Relocation: This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.
