Relationship Manager-Housing Finance-Sales

We are seeking a driven and experienced Relationship Manager to manage and grow the DSA (Direct Selling Agent) or branch channel for mortgage products. This is an individual contributor role focused on driving sales, ensuring compliance, and managing end-to-end case processing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mortgage sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and manage rela+P33:P35tionships with DSAs and internal stakeholders.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Business Development: Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets by selling Affordable Housing Loans, Home Improvement Loans, and Loans Against Property (LAP). [1, 2]
• Channel Management: Onboard, manage, and scale networks of Direct Selling Agents (DSAs), local connectors, property builders, and alternate channels. [1, 2]
• Lead Generation: Conduct direct marketing activities, visit self-construction sites, and run open-market campaigns to source potential clients. [1, 2]
• File & Documentation Management: Guide customers through the loan lifecycle. Help collect Know Your Customer (KYC) details, complete applications, and mitigate file errors. [1, 2]
• Internal Coordination: Collaborate closely with credit, underwriting, and operations teams to optimize processing TAT and resolve pending issues. [1, 2]
• Customer Retention & Support: Provide regular status updates to applicants, explain ROI and fees clearly, and build long-term relationships. [1, 2]
• Portfolio Quality & Collections: Keep portfolio delinquency low by coordinating initial stages of debt collection where required ("Sales & Collect" model). [1, 2]
• Cross-Selling: Cross-sell relevant third-party products like property/life insurance and allied financial offerings. [1, 2]

🎓 Experience & Qualifications

• Education: Graduate or Post Graduate degree in any stream (Management/Finance preferred).
• Experience: Typically 0–4 years of relevant experience in housing finance, mortgages, or micro-LAP sales.

Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of affordable housing loan metrics and government initiatives like credit subsidies

Manage sales and distribution of mortgage products through DSAs. Empanel new DSAs from the market and drive business growth through them. Train and develop DST (Direct Sales Team) and DSA partners to ensure productivity and compliance. Ensure adherence to KYC and documentation norms as per company guidelines. Ensure timely and accurate closure of disbursement documentation. Liaise with internal departments including Credit, Legal, Technical, RCU, and Operations for smooth case processing. Handle end-to-end processing of customer applications and keep customers and channel partners updated on status. Ensure high levels of customer service and satisfaction throughout the loan lifecycle.
