Transition to Practice Program for New Graduate RNs

New BScN graduate registered nurses are supported through a structured Transition to Practice Program designed to bridge the gap between nursing education and professional practice. This comprehensive program combines clinical development, professional education, mentorship, and peer support to help newly licensed nurses build confidence and competence during their first year as a registered nurse.

Participants engage in a series of learning experiences focused on strengthening clinical judgment, enhancing patient care skills, developing critical thinking abilities, and promoting professional growth. The program also provides opportunities to connect with fellow new graduate nurses, share experiences, and learn within a supportive cohort environment.

Throughout the program, nurses receive ongoing guidance from experienced nursing professionals while developing the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to successfully transition into independent practice. The combination of education, collaboration, and professional support helps new nurses establish a strong foundation for long-term career success in acute care nursing.
