Where You’ll Work
As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at St. Anthony North Hospital, you will provide circulating support for a high-volume surgical department that manages approximately 600–700+ cases per month. Our facility features 10 OR suites, a dedicated cystoscopy room, and a minor procedure room. You will work within an orthopedics-heavy department that includes trauma, sports medicine, spine (utilizing STEALTH and 7D navigation), podiatry, plastics, robotics (DaVinci XI, ROSA, and MAKO), and a variety of other specialties including General, ENT, GYN, Urology, Bariatrics, and GI. All associates are fully cross-trained to circulate across all service lines to ensure operational flexibility. Daily duties include providing intraoperative support, such as managing sterile instruments and supplies, facilitating efficient room turnovers, and restocking for the following day’s cases. Throughout every procedure, you will serve as a dedicated advocate for the patient’s safety and well-being.

Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our RN, you will assume responsibility for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with the healthcare team and patient/family to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient, advancing modern nursing through compassionate care.
Every day you will promote optimal patient health, well-being, and safety through the nursing process, adhering to patient care standards, guidelines, and the State Nurse Practice Act, and demonstrating personal accountability for relationship-based care and our organizational mission.

- Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, review of medical records & clinical data.
- Evaluates patient’s response and intervenes to ensure optimal patient outcome.
- Develop and implement patient plan of care and observe outcomes in accordance with nursing standards and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Demonstrate competency in a variety of therapeutic/diagnostic interventions including, but not limited to, IV’s, incision/wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collections.
- Thorough and confidential maintenance of patient charts and records.
- Document ongoing status, interventions, patient response and outcomes in an accurate, timely manner.
We are offering a $20,000 Sign on bonus in addition up to $10,000 relocation assistance to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.
Schedule- 36 hrs/Week- Variable shift times/days per surgical Volume and current unit needs.
Call required- Approx. 4-6 call shifts per 6 week schedule block. May Vary
Weekend Call is 0700-1930, 1900-0730, weekday call 1900-0730

Job Requirements
Required
- Associates Degree in Nursing; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RNs
- RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact
Preferred
Previous OR experience highly preferred
- One year of Nursing experience
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing
