Join Epworth Freemasons – Diverse Opportunities in Surgical Care

Exciting permanent full-time and part-time opportunities are available at Epworth Freemasons, located across our Victoria Parade and Albert Street campuses in East Melbourne. Working within a well-established Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) model, you will join a dynamic and fast-paced surgical environment. 

This role offers exposure to a broad and diverse range of specialties, including:

  • Adult and paediatric surgery
  • General surgery
  • Gynaecology and maternity services
  • Urology
  • ENT and maxillofacial
  • Orthopaedics
  • Ophthalmology
  • Pain Management
  • Endoscopy
  • Plastics

You’ll have the opportunity to build your skills across multiple disciplines while contributing to high-quality patient care in a leading private healthcare setting.

You will make an impact by:

  • Planning, reviewing and implementing patient anaesthetics and recovery care

If you are a registered nurse (RN) seeking a position in a supportive and collaborative perioperative environment, this opportunity may be for you. You should possess strong communication skills, be self-motivated, and have a natural ability to show compassion and empathy towards patients. Additionally, you will benefit from being part of a dedicated and experienced leadership team.

You will have:

  • Anaesthetics or PACU experience
  • Current unrestricted AHPRA Nursing registration
  • Ability to work across a rotating roster of AM, PM and twilight shifts
  • Broad experience gained across a variety of surgical specialties

The annual salary range for full time Registered Nurses – AUD AUD $85,732- $107,669 + super + entitlements, depending on registration type, year level and position/experience (prorated for part-time).
