Refreshment Attendant

Position: Refreshment Center Attendant Department: Refreshment Center Date Updated: 06/08/05 Primary Responsibilities: (guest interaction, ordering responsibilities, clean up duties, clerical responsibilities, etc.) · Ability to interact with internal and external guest · Uphold Safety practices · Replenishing the mini-bars of products used, including glasses and supplies · Effective telephone/pager use · Cleaning the mini-bars daily · Keeping inventory of products and completing paperwork daily · Ice the guest rooms daily Secondary Responsibilities: · Moving and lifting 180 pound bars · Take trash out · Clean the Refreshment Center, beverage carts, and the ice carts · Responsible for stocking inventory Normal Working Hours: (Shift, days) · 8:30am-5:00pm · Holidays/weekends In order to be successful in this position, the ideal candidate must meet the following criteria in addition to the Ten Essential Attributes for All Employees. Past Work Experience Requirements: (Type of work, number of years required, equivalent experience, etc.) · A position that had customer/guest contact is preferred Educational Requirements: (Degree/Certification, highest required/preferred, field of study) · High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred Communication Skills Requirements: (Verbal: phone, in-person, group; Written: memos, documents) · Be able to speak English fluently · Communicate in a friendly and polite manner with internal and external guest · Ability to communicate with other departments Technical Requirements: · Valid Drivers License · WV State Food Handlers Card Required Supervision: (Reports to, Supervision provided, number of people to supervise) · Manager on duty at all times Other Requirements: · Consistent demonstration of the Ten Essential Attributes · Knowledge of resort and amenities as well as the layout of rooms (preferred, not required) · Ability to get along with others · Team player, Desire to satisfy our guest –ALWAYS! · Professional appearance · Self starter · Self motivator · Positive attitude · Able to adapt to change · Time Management & Organization *Requirements are subject to change
