About the Role
The Sales Manager – Credit Cards (Sales Fulfilment Channel) is responsible for end‑to‑end fulfilment of pre‑approved and centrally sourced credit card leads, ensuring high conversion rates, timely onboarding, activation and early usage. The role focuses on translating approved pipelines into active card customers abd providing banking products through cross sell while maintaining portfolio quality, process discipline and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive fulfilment of pre‑approved and centrally generated credit card leads sourced through digital, analytics, branch or partner channels.
• Ensure high lead‑to‑booking conversion through structured follow‑ups and execution discipline.
• Manage lead ageing and minimise drop‑offs across the fulfilment funnel.
• Ensure timely card activation post‑issuance through proactive customer engagement.
• Coordinate customer communication for welcome calls, benefits explanation and usage nudges.
• Manage and monitor fulfilment executives / tele‑sales / on‑roll teams responsible for lead closure and onboarding.
• Drive daily productivity, call discipline, conversion metrics and service quality.
• Coach teams on customer handling, objection management and process adherence.
• Ensure fulfilment strictly adheres to credit policy, eligibility norms and underwriting approvals.
• Monitor early delinquency, cancellations and attrition trends within fulfilled portfolios.
• Resolve fulfilment‑related escalations and customer complaints within defined TATs.
• Provide feedback to sourcing and analytics teams to improve lead quality and conversion
• Maintain high documentation accuracy and zero‑defect onboarding standards.
• Ensure all fulfilment activities comply with Bank policies, regulatory guidelines and ethical sales standards.
• Adhere to customer consent, suitability and communication norms.
Qualifications
Optimal qualification for success on the job is:
• Graduation /Post Graduate degree
Role Proficiencies:
• 3 - 8 years of experience in banking sales, tele‑sales, fulfilment or credit card operations‑linked roles
• Prior exposure to lead fulfilment, conversion management or inside sales models preferred
• Experience managing teams is essential
• Strong execution and process discipline
• Ability to manage volume‑driven fulfilment operations
• Good understanding of credit card products and policies
• People management and performance monitoring skills
