Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain components of our trading systems and supporting infrastructure, across execution and order management, exchange connectivity, market data, pricing and risk, and backtesting 
  • Work alongside traders, quants and portfolio managers to understand what they need and build it 
  • Write high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code, and learn from thorough code review 
  • Develop and debug software in a Linux environment 
  • Help investigate and resolve production issues, with support from the wider team 
  • Make good use of modern tooling, AI coding agents, and development practices 
  • Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment with daily deployments 
  • Take on additional engineering tasks as required by the team
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or Financial Engineering, graduating soon or with up to two years of experience
  • Strong programming ability in at least one of Java, Python, C# or Rust; we are open to candidates from any language background who can pick things up quickly 
  • Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms 
  • A working grasp of threading models and concurrency 
  • Evidence that you can build things and finish them, whether through internships, open-source contributions, coursework or your own projects 
  • Genuine enthusiasm for agentic development and working alongside AI coding agents 
  • An interest in trading and financial markets, however it has come about 
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-moving environment
