Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will help ensure that parts, products, and systems meet established quality requirements before moving to the next stage of production and, ultimately, to the customer. You will perform inspections, testing, documentation, and quality activities using established standards and procedures to support ABB’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.


The work model for this role is: On-site, based in Bartlesville, OK.


You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Maintaining and updating quality documentation, including contract data, engineering drawings, standards, specifications, and technical reference materials.
  • Performing incoming, in-process, and first article inspections, including handling materials, interpreting engineering drawings and purchase orders, and verifying components meet specified requirements.
  • Using precision measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, pressure gauges, go/no-go gauges, and thread gauges.
  • Accurately documenting inspection results and completing related inventory transactions in SAP.
  • Supporting calibration activities by entering and maintaining calibration records, preparing equipment for shipment, and auditing calibration tools and equipment.
  • Supporting discrepant material processes by documenting issues and coordinating DMR/MRB activities.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to investigate and resolve quality issues and ensure compliance with ABB’s quality management systems.

Required qualifications for the role

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or quality environment.
  • Working knowledge of quality inspection processes, measurement tools, and quality documentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and purchase orders.
  • Proficiency Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Must be authorized to work permanently in the United States. This position is not eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization.

Preferred:

  • Proficiency with SAP
