Location: Derby (DE24)
Shift: Tuesday to Saturday (Tuesday to Friday: 09:00 – 17:00, Saturday: 06:00 – 14:00)

We are looking to recruit a Quality Inspector for our End of Line Audit team at our site in Derby. 
 
As a Level 1 Quality Inspector you will perform visual inspection of parts and paperwork in line with customer and industry specifications, to ensure that conforming orders are released to our customers 

You will spend the majority of your time working to functional processes, taking accountability for checking product, labelling, paperwork and quantity conformity against customer requirements. 

Duties will include: 

• Perform visual verification checks for part marking, quantity, packaging, labelling, paperwork 

• Perform verification of paperwork as required to ensure customer and company requirements are satisfied. 

• Maintain information and status within company data systems to ensure this remains up to date and accurate. 

• Support problem investigation by ensuring clear and concise problem definitions are established when issues arise and communicate with supplies (as required) to help resolve technical problems. 

 
About You 

Previous Quality Inspection experience preferably within an aerospace, manufacturing or automotive environment is desirable although not essential as training will be provided 

 
You will possess high levels of attention to detail and be a good communicator who is able to work as part of a team effectively.
