The primary responsibilities of this position is to ensure that the plantβs products comply with customer specifications, company policy and standards and the standards of relevant product certifying or regulatory bodies and agencies
About the job:
As Quality Engineers, they support the engineering team by ensuring products meet specifications and company quality, safety, and security standards. They analyze defects, work with cross-functional teams on improvement plans, and help meet PPM and LAR targets. They also participate in yield and scrap analysis, manage non-conforming materials, and escalate quality issues when necessary.
Implement and ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and ISO 14001. Support internal and external audits by analyzing audit findings, developing corrective actions, verifying their effectiveness, and ensuring timely closure of action items.
Set performance goals and standards for the team, evaluate performance, and provide appropriate recognition or corrective actions. Supervise a small to medium group of inspectors, ensure alignment with daily quality targets, and provide regular feedback. Coach and train team members on work processes and instructions, develop their skills and competencies, and address performance concerns. Build a disciplined, motivated, and skilled team while monitoring PPM and administrative errors to reduce production defects and inspection misses.
Support customer requirements such as complaint handling, test reports, and other quality-related requests. Apply 8D methodology and quality tools to analyze and resolve issues in collaboration with the team within the required timeline. Identify effective corrective actions and improvement plans to prevent recurring customer complaints and support zero-defect performance.
About you:
- Graduate of any Engineering course, preferably as license Engineer
- Β 5+ years of related work experience in an electronics / automotive manufacturing company,semiconductor company is preferred
- Human relations and leadership skills;
- Well-versed on statistical tools and software like Minitab
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Six Sigma Green Belt certified is an advantage
