Job Description

 

  • Gather statistical data for reporting purposes.
  • Monitors eligibility information to ensure complete and accurate data is on file and complete a monitoring report detailing findings
  • Prepare bi-monthly Monitoring Committee report.
  • Monitor compliance through technical review of records and ensure compliance with all local, state and federal regulations and policies.
  • Communicates final determination of monitoring activities to appropriate staff.
  • Track all case file corrections
  • Ensure the case management of all Child Care cases
  • Assist in authorizing payments to eligible CCAS providers with appropriate documentation.
  • Assess parent share of costs accurately
  • Assist with the planning and presentation of staff training as appropriate.
  • Completes reports for the Program Director, Client Services Manager and the local Board’s Quality Assurance Specialist detailing all findings. Follows up to ensure that corrections have been made and reported to appropriate staff.
  • Maintains a data base of all records monitored and tracks correction of all identified errors to ensure that all identified noncompliance have been corrected.

  • Maintain knowledge of current eligibility guidelines, funding guidelines, and departmental policies; apply guidelines and policies to individual cases.
  • Must be aware of the legal and professional responsibilities with regard to reporting suspected adult/child abuse and neglect, etc., in accordance with the provisions of Federal, State, or local law.
  • Assure confidentiality of clients and co-workers.
  • Notify management of any real or perceived problems.
  • Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, streamline work processes and work cooperatively and jointly with clients, other staff, vendors, funding source staff, and monitors.
  • Establish, maintain and foster positive and harmonious working relationships.
  • Ensure that clients of all races, religions, family backgrounds and cultures are treated with respect and consideration.
  • Arrive at work, on time, ready to work scheduled hours.
  • Complete all paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. 
  • Accustomed to a complex, fast-paced, and confidential work environment. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Computer literate, able to use various software programs for correspondence, reports, statistical compilation and analysis, and database access.
  • This position requires regular business travel. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license, maintain an acceptable driving record, and provide proof of current automobile insurance.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or two years case management experience preferred. 
  • Directly related work experience in performance monitoring.
