Job Description:

We are seeking a talented QA engineer to design testing procedures for our software applications. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing the functionality of applications and designing tests to validate their performance. You will also be required to identify bugs and collaborate with the software design team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and oversee product inspection and testing for quality, conformance to specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deeply understand product requirements and translate them into test coverage.
• Design, develop, and execute test cases, scenarios, and scripts for both manual and automated testing workflows.
• Conduct thorough regression testing to identify defects, verify bug fixes, and protect against regressions.
• Work closely with developers to reproduce, isolate, and debug issues — bridging the gap between QA and engineering.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks and internal tooling.
• Document test procedures, results, and defects clearly — keeping the team informed and the record clean.
• Participate in regular team meetings and provide actionable feedback on product quality and testing strategies.
• Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to QA team members on systems, policies, and core processes.

Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a QA Engineer in a software product environment.
• Solid experience working within agile development methodologies and sprint-based delivery cycles.
• Proficiency with code management platforms such as Bitbucket or GitHub.
• An organized, methodical mindset — able to plan, structure, and report on complex test sets with clarity.
• Strong sense of ownership: you take tasks end-to-end and see them through to resolution.
• Excellent analytical skills with a sharp eye for detail and an instinct for edge cases.
• Detailed knowledge of application functionality, bug lifecycle, and testing protocols.
• Strong time management — comfortable juggling multiple workstreams without letting things slip.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Programming experience, preferably with Java or scripting languages — advantage.
• Experience with UI test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or Playwright — advantage.
