Proposal Engineer

We are seeking a Proposal Engineer to support our business development efforts in delivering innovative and efficient power generation solutions to both current and future clients. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional project teams and play a key part in leading the technical development of proposals, contributing to impactful projects that drive our industry forward.

Essential Responsibilities

• Leads technical proposal development, including defining scope and reviewing project specifications to ensure alignment with customer requirements.
• Maintain the technical documentation and data sheets to support proposed work.
• Support site walk-downs, inspections, and pre-bid meetings to gather critical project insight.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to obtain and evaluate technical input and quotations.
• Responsible for maintaining and developing the project’s financial estimate.
• Supports bid reviews by presenting technical strategy and key proposal details.

• B.S. in Engineering
• Experience in power generation equipment, systems, or construction environments is valued.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and contribute to technical problem-solving efforts.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally. (30-50% Travel Required)

To provide greater transparency to candidates, we include base pay ranges for all US-based job postings that encompass all potential locations and levels for the open position.  Our base pay ranges are set on the function, discipline, level and regional location and are benchmarked against companies in the same or similar industry.  Final offers may vary based on multiple factors, including; education, depth and relevance of work experience, relevant licenses and certifications, and may vary from the amounts listed in the job posting.

We welcome candidates with a wide range of experience for this role, and the base pay range is $80,000.00–$201,250.00.
