About this role

The first few weeks after a wreck are the most stressful part of the process for our clients — and most of that stress is about the car. Where is it, who's paying to fix it, why won't the adjuster call back, how do I get to work tomorrow.

The Property Damage Liaison is the person who makes those weeks easier. You'll be one of the first people a new client talks to, and your job is to make sure they never feel lost in the property damage process.

This is a client-experience role. Success is measured by how our clients feel about us, not by billable output.

What you'll do

  • Serve as the client's point of contact for property damage questions — repairs, total loss valuations, rental cars, storage, and towing
  • Explain the property damage process in plain language and set expectations for what comes next
  • Work closely with clients who are frustrated or whose claim has gone sideways
  • Act as the firm's internal resource on property damage questions for our intake, investigation, and paralegal teams
  • Identify and handle diminished value claims and total loss arbitration files under attorney supervision
  • Communicate with third-party neutrals and review numbers with clients after attorney approval

What we're looking for

  • Genuinely outgoing — you connect with people quickly, especially by phone
  • Steady with frustrated people; you meet clients on some of their worst weeks
  • Able to explain a process clearly to someone who is upset and not listening well
  • Organized enough to carry a high-volume caseload without letting files go quiet

Preferred

  • Prior property damage claims experience; insurance adjuster background is ideal
  • Familiarity with total loss valuation and diminished value

We can teach property damage. We can't teach temperament. If you're the person friends call when they're overwhelmed and need someone to walk them through it, we want to hear from you.
