Job Description

Position Overview

The Project Support Officer post forms part of the  Delivery Team within the Client organisation and is responsible for supporting and overseeing delivery of infrastructure projects .  The postholder will support the administration of projects through the use of robust governance frameworks, management tools and processes. The postholder will also provide administrative support to the development of the wider team’s outputs

🔹 Key Responsibilities

📋 Support project delivery and ensure alignment with strategic objectives

📝 Organise governance meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and track actions

📊 Maintain project plans, trackers, reports, and governance documentation

⚠️ Monitor project risks and issues, supporting resolution with stakeholders

🤝 Engage with internal and external stakeholders to support project outcomes

📂 Ensure project documentation is accurate, up to date, and properly managed

Qualifications

Skills / experience required for this role:

1. MS O365 proficient.
2. Strong administration and governance skills.
3. Effective stakeholder management and engagement at all levels.
4. Strong presentation and communication skills.
5. Organised with ability to work on own initiative

Additional Information

Umbrella contractor role

SC Clearance required to start

This is a site-based role, and the incumbent will be expected to work 3 days per week from site
