Due to our continued success and growth, we are searching for an experienced Project Planner to be a part of the Wood Thilsted team and to support the future development of the company 

 

As our new Project Planner, you will be involved in major design projects throughout Europe and Asia. You will report to the Head of Project Excellence and Governance, and you will be working in close collaboration with project managers across our project delivery and engineering teams.  

 

Planning is one of the key success factors in delivering complex offshore wind projects and structured governance, transparent reporting, and proactive risk management directly influence project performance and decision-making. You will not only manage schedules but act as a trusted partner to project management - driving alignment across technical disciplines and client interfaces. 

 

Our project portfolio consists of a large number of small and medium-sized projects and a few large multidisciplinary projects. Your main focus will be on the larger complex projects, but you will also be managing sub- portfolios. 

 

Areas of accountability will include to work closely with Project Managers to successfully deliver and coordinate major WTG and OSS foundation design projects in collaboration with global in-house technical teams. In your role you will: 

 

  • Maintain project schedules in Primavera P6/OPC and MS Project, updating progress, creating transparency about the critical path, maintaining baselines, running analysis on possible scenarios of project execution. 


  • Maintain pro-active communication with our project managerswork package leads and project support teams as well as with clients to ensure that project programmes are aligned continuously with all project stakeholders. 


  • Together with the project manager follow up on internal progress of all disciplines in a project and support issuing of regular progress reports with accurate and valid data to clients in a concise and timely manner 

 

  • Support Project Steering Committee meetings by creating transparency around schedule risks as basis for decision-making 

 

  • Help the project teams forecasting resource demands and assuring that allocated resources to the project are in line with constant changes of project time-schedule. 

 

The primary work location will be Warsaw in Poland, with the opportunity to spend a portion of your week working from home. You should expect some travelling in relation to your work. 

  

Your background 

Thriving in an international environment, with a strong drive to deliver and improve, you will take the initiative and responsibility for the variety of assignments Wood Thilsted can offer. Motivated by creating excellent results through teamwork, you will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, be fluent in English, and use these to liaise with clients and other consultants effectively. Proficiency in Polish will be considered an advantage.

With your great attention to detail and curious nature, you take a creative and innovative approach to problem solving and are eager to develop your existing knowledge and skills. You think logically, are willing to self-learn and can work in small teams.  

 

Furthermore, it is an advantage if you have: 

 

  • Experience from consulting engineering, preferably from the offshore wind industry. 

 

  • Several years of experience in using Primavera OPC or Primavera P6 software. 

 

  • Knowledge of other software: Excel, MS Project is a plus.
