Context

We are looking for a Stakeholder PM for our Transit Project in Toronto, ON. 

Missions/Main Duties

·         Coordinates with the Project Delivery Team to resolve issues with stakeholders and develop mitigation measures.

·         Ensures the project is progressing by completing, assigning, and monitoring day-to-day tasks and providing updates to management; documents lessons learned to meet project deadlines/milestones in a timely manner as well as providing management with an overall view of the status of the project.  

·         Ensures stakeholder input is accounted for in the project outcomes, ensure issues are appropriately managed and escalated for resolution.  Ensures stakeholders are informed of any impacts or changes.   

·         Ensures information is communicated to relevant stakeholders and team members to enable them to make decisions and take appropriate, timely action and monitor customer satisfaction.

·         Coordinates meetings, working groups and touchpoints with project stakeholders.

·         Liaises with the Project Delivery Team and Contractors to develop and distribute agendas and materials in advance of stakeholder meetings.

·         Ensures quality control and coordinates required approvals of materials prior to distribution to stakeholders.

·         Develops content to support stakeholder coordination touchpoints.

·         Develops and maintains project stakeholder register.

·         Develops and maintains stakeholder RAID (Risk, Action, Issue, Decision) log.

·         Coordinates with Project Delivery Team and Contractors to ensure completion of assigned actions.

·         Develops, distributes and coordinates review of meeting minutes and materials.

·         Develops and maintains stakeholder trackers and metrics to support KPI reporting.

·         Compiles inputs to support the development of stakeholder Annual Work Plans and Task Sheets. 

·         Monitors spend against approved budgets.

·         Demonstrates interpersonal skills and ability to negotiate as required with consultants/contractors and stakeholders.

·         Prepares stakeholder reports.

Profile/Skills

·         Completion of a degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Business, Architecture or a related discipline – or a combination of education, training and experience deemed equivalent Engineering or Architectural college/ university degree or diploma 

·         Demonstrated experience in project management, preferably within the public sector

·         Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Certified Engineering Technician (CET) or P.Eng. designation or partial completion is an asset

·         Project management experience to manage assigned projects and coordinate with staff engaged in all stages of project management from start to close-out

·         Knowledge of the transportation industry is an asset

·         Organizational, interpersonal and oral/written/presentation communication skills to coordinate complex projects under pressure to meet schedule and budget commitments

·         Proficiency is software such as MS Word, Excel, Visio, Unifier, ProjectWise

 

Salary Scale for this role is between $140K - $155K annually.

The salary range provided below serves as a general guideline and reflects typical offers for this position. It is not intended as a strict range; in certain situations, actual compensation may vary when justified.
