Job Description

We're looking for a to join our growing Energy, Utilities & Transportation practice. This is a hybrid PM/BA role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, moves easily between business and technical teams, and knows how to turn strategy into execution. 

You'll lead project delivery, drive process optimization, and support digital, data, and AI transformation work for clients modernizing how they operate. If you're detail-oriented, comfortable in front of executives, and energized by solving messy problems, this role is built for you. 

What You'll Do 

Project Management 

  • Own end-to-end delivery: scope, schedule, budget, risks, and governance 

  • Build and maintain project plans, RAID logs, roadmaps, and executive status reports 

  • Align stakeholders across business, IT, vendors, and sponsors 

  • Run workshops, steering committees, and sprint ceremonies 

  • Spot risks early and drive them to resolution 

Business Analysis & Process Optimization 

  • Gather and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria 

  • Map current and future-state processes and operating models 

  • Identify opportunities for automation, modernization, and efficiency 

  • Run gap analyses, root cause analyses, and cost-benefit evaluations 

  • Support vendor assessments, RFPs, and technology selection 

AI, Digital & Technology Transformation 

  • Partner with stakeholders to identify where AI and automation can move the needle 

  • Document AI use cases and translate business challenges into tech-enabled solutions 

  • Evaluate AI platforms, copilots, and automation tools against business needs 

  • Support adoption: testing, training, change management 

  • Stay current on emerging AI capabilities and bring new ideas to clients 

Technology & Data 

  • Collaborate with technical teams on implementations, integrations, and testing 

  • Support reporting, dashboards, data quality, and governance workstreams 

  • Translate business requirements into technical specs 

  • Support modernization efforts across cloud, ERP, CRM, EAM, GIS, and other platforms 

Consulting & Client Engagement 

  • Build trusted relationships and act as a strategic advisor throughout delivery 

  • Lead workshops, requirements sessions, and executive meetings 

  • Develop client-ready deliverables: business cases, roadmaps, recommendations 

  • Contribute to proposals, SOWs, and business development 

  • Mentor junior consultants and help build out practice knowledge

Qualifications

Required 

  • 4+ years in technical project management, business analysis, consulting, or a similar client-facing role 

  • Track record delivering complex business or technology transformation projects 

  • Strong PM fundamentals: planning, risk management, stakeholder management, budgeting 

  • Experience documenting requirements, business process flows, and user stories 

  • Experience facilitating workshops and managing cross-functional stakeholders 

  • A track record of spotting opportunities for process improvement or AI-enabled transformation 

  • Familiarity with generative AI, enterprise AI tools, copilots, or intelligent automation 

  • Experience working alongside engineering, product, IT, or data teams 

  • Comfort with process mapping tools (Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, ARIS, or similar) 

  • Strong analytical chops with Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar 

  • Excellent communication skills, including with executives 

  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities in fast-paced, ambiguous environments 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field 

Nice to Have 

  • Consulting background in Energy, Utilities, Transportation, Manufacturing, or other industrial sectors preferred 

  • Experience running AI transformation from strategy through adoption 

  • Hands-on experience with AI workflow assessments or intelligent automation 

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, Claude, Gemini, or similar 

  • Experience with low-code/no-code platforms like Power Platform, UiPath, or ServiceNow 

  • Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or hybrid delivery methods 

  • Experience with ERP, CRM, EAM, GIS, Workday, Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics 

  • Exposure to Azure, AWS, or GCP 

  • Experience supporting change management and user adoption 

  • Certifications like PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, CSPO, CBAP, or Lean Six Sigma

Compensation  

  • Base Salary: $118,300–$122,400. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by applicable law.

Workplace 
Sia values in-person collaboration. When serving clients, consultants may be required to work onsite at a client location based on engagement needs. Between client engagements, consultants are expected to work from a Sia office or approved coworking location at least three days per week. Candidates should reside within a reasonable commuting distance of a Sia office or approved coworking location. Sia maintains offices and coworking arrangements across multiple U.S. markets, including New York City, Charlotte, Greater Seattle, San Francisco Greater Bay Area, Los Angeles, Houston, Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago, Washington D.C.
