Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead SAP transformation, implementation, rollout, enhancement, and AMS engagements for DSM-Firmenich. The role requires strong project governance, stakeholder management, delivery leadership, and experience managing global SAP programs across multiple workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end SAP project delivery from initiation through hypercare and closure.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, scope, and resource allocation.
  • Drive governance through regular project reviews, steering committee meetings, and executive status reporting.
  • Manage RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and ensure timely resolution of critical items.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including SAP Functional, Technical, Basis, Integration, Testing, and Business stakeholders.
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, and quality metrics.
  • Manage project financials, forecasts, revenue, and margin adherence.
  • Lead client discussions and serve as the primary point of contact for delivery matters.
  • Ensure adherence to project methodologies, compliance requirements, and quality standards.
  • Support change management, cutover planning, go-live activities, and hypercare support.
  • Drive continuous improvement and delivery excellence initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience managing SAP implementation, migration, rollout, or AMS projects.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
  • Knowledge of SAP functional areas such as MM, SD, PP, WM/EWM, FICO, Ariba, MDG, or SuccessFactors.
  • Proven experience in project planning, budgeting, forecasting, and stakeholder management.
  • Expertise in risk management and governance structures. 
  • Strong client-facing and executive communication skills.
