POSITION PURPOSE
The Project Manager will be responsible for the successful end-to-end execution of Pharma cleanroom, MEP, process utility, and Semiconductor facility projects. The role owns the complete project lifecycle—from civil handover through engineering coordination, procurement support, construction, commissioning, qualification support, customer handover, and project close-out.
The incumbent will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage project performance across safety, quality, schedule, cost, and compliance, while ensuring seamless integration of cleanroom systems, process utilities, and base-build MEP infrastructure in highly regulated pharmaceutical and semiconductor environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Project Delivery
- Own end-to-end execution of Pharma cleanroom, Semiconductor, and MEP projects from site handover through commissioning and project close-out.
- Deliver projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
2. Cleanroom Execution
- Lead execution of cGMP-compliant pharmaceutical cleanrooms (Grade A–D / ISO Class 3–8) and semiconductor cleanroom facilities.
- Ensure successful installation, commissioning, qualification support, and regulatory handover.
3. Process Utility Systems
- Manage complete execution of process utility systems including PW, WFI, Pure Steam, CDA, PCW, specialty gases, vacuum systems and utility piping.
- Ensure compliance with ASME BPE, GMP, and SEMI standards.
4. MEP Infrastructure Management
- Lead execution and integration of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, BMS and ELV systems with cleanroom and process utility infrastructure.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering interfaces for seamless project delivery.
5. Project Planning & Cost Control
- Prepare and monitor project schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project.
- Manage project budgets, BOQs, cash flow forecasts and resource planning.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
6. Contractor & Vendor Management
- Manage subcontractors, specialist vendors and OEMs throughout project execution.
- Conduct technical evaluations, monitor performance and ensure contractual compliance.
7. Validation & Regulatory Compliance
- Coordinate DQ, IQ, OQ and PQ activities with validation teams.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, WHO GMP, USFDA, EU GMP Annex 1, ISO 14644, ISPE and SEMI standards.
8. Documentation & Engineering Coordination
- Review and approve shop drawings, IFC drawings, MEP coordination drawings and as-built documentation.
- Manage RFIs, technical submittals, change orders and project documentation.
9. Commissioning & Project Handover
- Lead commissioning, snag closure, qualification support, customer acceptance, DLP management and final project handover.
- Ensure defect-free delivery and successful regulatory readiness.
10. Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with Clients, PMCs, Consultants, QA teams, Regulatory Authorities and Engineering teams throughout project execution.
- Conduct project reviews and provide timely reporting to senior management.
11. Leadership & Governance
- Lead multidisciplinary site teams while promoting Safety, Quality and Operational Excellence.
Drive governance through structured reviews, reporting, risk management and continuous improvement initiatives.

EDUCATION
Mandatory
- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering.
Preferred Certifications
- PMP
- PRINCE2
- ISPE Certifications
- Cleanroom or Pharmaceutical Engineering Certifications
EXPERIENCE (MANDATORY)
- 12–15 years of Project Management experience in MEP/EPC infrastructure projects.
- Minimum 7–8 years dedicated experience delivering Pharma Cleanroom projects.
- Proven hands-on experience executing Process Utility systems including PW, WFI, Pure Steam, CDA, PCW and Specialty Gas systems.
- Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary MEP and Cleanroom projects.
- Experience with Primavera P6, MS Project and project cost management.
- Exposure to Semiconductor facility construction is highly preferred.
- Strong experience managing subcontractors, consultants and customer interfaces.
