At our Sandvik's Underground Drilling Division, we are looking for a Project Manager to lead product development projects that support the future of intelligent automation, digitalization and sustainable mining solutions. This permanent position is based in Tampere (Myllypuro), Finland.

Your mission

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional product development projects from planning through execution. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery in line with business objectives.

You will play a key role in bringing people together around a common goal, creating enthusiasm and commitment, and helping teams succeed. Guided by Sandvik’s core values, you inspire and guide teams through challenges, help remove obstacles, and create an environment where people can perform at their best.

Your main responsibilities

• Lead and drive product development projects

• Create and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets and resource plans

• Manage project scope, risks, opportunities, dependencies and changes

• Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

• Ensure projects are delivered according to agreed objectives and timelines

Your background and what we find important

• Experience managing projects in a complex environment

• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to build commitment, foster collaboration and help teams overcome obstacles

• A proactive and solution-oriented mindset

• Relevant higher education or equivalent experience

• Fluent English

• Experience in product development in engineering or the mining industry is an advantage, but not a requirement
