We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead complex Mobile Network Automation & Optimization projects for our global customers, in a challenging multi-national and multi-cultural work environment.


Job Description:

  • Take overall responsibility for planning, coordinating, and executing assigned mobile network projects, spanning network automation software, optimization, engineering, professional and managed services from initiation through completion.
  • Manage multiple large, complex projects simultaneously, working within stringent deadlines to complete assignments within a restricted time period.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product, Integration, Support, Delivery, Sales, Finance, and external partners, across geographically distributed locations and time zones.
  • Act as the primary interface with customer project managers, technical teams, and senior stakeholders, building customer confidence through transparent and structured project management.
  • Establish and maintain cooperation and relations with Mobile Network Operator stakeholders and internal department employees.
  • Coordinate activities involving multi-vendor, multi-technology mobile networks, including 2G/3G/4G/5G, RAN, network automation, and SON/AI-driven optimization.
  • Interpret, analyze and evaluate available data, and make decisions concerning complex and comprehensive operational problems.
  • Establish and maintain project risk and issue registers, proactively identifying and mitigating technical, commercial, resource, and operational risks.
  • Manage project financials, resource planning, customer acceptance, and reporting; estimate, manage, and de-risk project schedules and budgets.
  • Actively take part in contract preparation and pre-sales phases of the projects; support business development by identifying new opportunities and contributing to proposals and solution design.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet contractual and agreed technical requirements, coordinating customer acceptance, KPI verification, and final handover activities.
  • Exercise good judgment in safeguarding confidential or sensitive information.
  • Communicate effectively, orally and in writing, at all levels, including with C-level stakeholders.
  • Support Managed Services and Professional Services engagements, including service mobilization, SLA/KPI monitoring, and subcontractor coordination where required.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience in the mobile telecommunications industry, including at least 5+ years in project/program management or a comparable customer-facing delivery leadership role.
  • PMP Certification is a plus.
  • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Project and PMBOK methodology.
  • Proven project management experience in multi-country, multi-cultural, and customer-facing environments.
  • Demonstrated team building and leadership skills, including the ability to lead teams without direct hierarchical authority.
  • Good understanding of mobile network technologies including 4G/5G, RAN, network optimization, automation, OSS/BSS, or managed services.
  • Solid understanding of engineering technical issues/needs, financial, sales, and marketing.
  • Excellent presentation skills, with strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • Experience communicating effectively through all stages of a project’s lifecycle, including C-level communication.
  • Travel between project locations will be needed.
  • Fluent English is a must; a second language is a plus.
  • Experience in Network Automation/SON, AI-driven optimization, RAN Optimization, Telecom Software Solutions, Professional and Managed Services, or System Integration is a plus.
