  • Requires daily onsite attendance; this is not a remote-work position.

What you’ll do (Position Summary)

This is a paid Summer Internship Program (mid-May to early August). As an intern with our Grayloc team, you’ll assist with day-to-day engineering and project management responsibilities, including generating documents, organizing SharePoint, creating reports, and developing procedures etc. for the engineering and PM groups.

Your job responsibilities and projects will be based upon your experience and educational background to provide real life application of your classroom knowledge. You’ll work closely with a mentor to ensure your developmental goals are met and that you meet your performance expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Managers with project tracking, scheduling, and status reporting. 

  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, meeting minutes, and action item logs. 

  • Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations to support project reviews. 

  • Organize and maintain project files and SharePoint documentation. 

  • Support process improvement and standardization initiatives. 

  • Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams on project deliverables. 

  • Assist with data collection, KPI tracking, and project metrics reporting. 

  • Support the development of procedures, work instructions, and training materials. 

  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to team discussions.

    REQUIRED

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related field. 

  • Strong organizational and communication (writing and documentation) skills. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams. 

  • Experience with Power BI, SharePoint, or project management tools is preferred. 

  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and contribute in a team environment.

 

DESIRED

  • Exposure to physical tools as used for home improvement, wood working, automotive related and similar; programming whether as part of coursework or as a hobby 

Working Conditions

This position is considered OFFICE WORK which is characterized as follows. 

  • Almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night 

  • Occasional exposure to airborne dust in the work place

  • Work surface is stable (flat)
