About this role

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Analyze customer specifications, grid code requirements, and project technical requirements, and translate them into effective control system solutions.

  • Design and develop control logic for the Plant Power Controller (PPC), Energy Management System (EMS), and other plant-level control functions on the Ovation Platform.

  • Configure and implement project-specific applications within the Ovation Green SCADA system, including system integration, HMI development, alarm management, data acquisition, and reporting functions.

  • Perform system testing, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and commissioning activities to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Support project execution to ensure technical deliverables are completed on schedule, within scope, and in compliance with customer requirements and applicable standards.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Control Engineering, Power Systems, or related discipline.

  • Strong understanding of power system control functions, including power control and grid support functions.

  • Knowledge of renewable energy plant operation, including PV, BESS, and hybrid power plant applications.

  • Hands-on experience with PPC, EMS, and Hybrid applications for utility-scale renewable energy projects.

  • Experience in SCADA system design, HMI development, and system integration.

  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols, including Modbus TCP/IP, IEC 60870-5-104, IEC 61850, and OPC UA.

  • Able to travel internationally regularly and provide on-site engineering services

  • Fluent in English.
     

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

  • Experience in grid dispatch control systems or microgrid energy management and control systems is preferred.

  • Experience with power system applications for AI Data Centers (AIDC) is preferred.
