What You Will Do:

Guidehouse is seeking a project analyst to help transform business processes, develop and implement organizational strategies, improve efficiency and operations, and increase transparency and performance management for our national security and federal law enforcement clients 

 

As an analyst, you will be a critical member of project teams, helping our clients solve complex business challenges from strategy through execution. This includes conducting qualitative and qualitative data analysis, preparing and presenting well-organized, effective reports and presentations to client and internal executives, and supporting day-to-day operational meetings with clients and consulting leaders.

As an analyst, you will have an opportunity to deepen your specialized knowledge and consulting skills, with room for long-term professional growth and career development within the firm. We are looking for candidates who are self-motivated, outcomes oriented, and capable and willing to develop solutions on their own and collaboratively as part of a team of highly skilled professionals.  

 

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of professional experience with expertise in two or more of the following areas: 

  • Proven abilities and prior success working in a fast-paced environment with expectations to own projects, serving as a client advisor to help provide clarity and direction in ambiguous situations 

  • Assist in establishing or improving governance processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency and consistency

  • Prior development of strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into tangible documents and/or deliverables 

  • Prior experience in creating executive-level strategic communications and visuals

  • Prior experiencing developing and executing a stakeholder engagement and communications plan to engender alignment and buy-in across a large, diverse set of stakeholders without direct lines of reporting/authority 

  • Prior experience in preparing and/or facilitating client meetings and synthesizing data into high-level outputs 

  • Prior experience facilitating the implementation of program and the program management initiatives 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group 

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple simultaneous projects in addition to time-sensitive ad-hoc requests 

  • Excellent skills in MS Office Suite (e.g., PowerPoint and Excel) 

  • Familiarity with data analysis and visualization approaches and tools

What You Will Need:

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED Top Secret Federal or DoD security clearance 

  • Bachelor's degree 

  • TWO (2) or more years of professional experience in consulting, strategy, organizational transformation, organizational development, process improvement, workforce strategy, change management, communications, monitoring and evaluation, or human capital. 

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Change management, process improvement, or project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM, Lean Six Sigma Green or Yellow Belt) 

  • Experience supporting or managing project plans, governance structures, performance metrics, or program documentatio

  • Experience developing new and re-designing existing processes to meet new and/or evolving business requirements

  • Knowledge of project lifecycle phases, risk mitigation approaches, and schedule management best practices

  • Ability to think strategically while delivering tactically, with a keen attention to detail

  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrated curiosity and creative thinking, with the ability to explore new approaches, challenge assumptions, and identify innovative solutions to complex problems

  • Experience performing data analysis and using findings to recommend and implement improvements

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and contribute as a team member, understanding personal and team roles, contributing to a positive working environment by building relationships with team members, and proactively seeking guidance, clarification, and feedback

  • Experience prioritizing and handling multiple tasks, researching and analyzing pertinent client, industry and technical matters, and utilizing problem-solving skills to achieve desired outcomes

The annual salary range for this position is $74,000.00-$124,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
