Program Manager I, Flex Advocacy Operations
About this role
As the Amazon Flex Program Manager, you will be responsible for the strategy and initiatives aimed at improving the quality and efficiency of the deliveries carried out by the program. To achieve your goals, you'll work with diverse areas of the organization, including technology, operations, and marketing. A successful program manager will work to enhance the experience of hundreds of drivers, both within operations and when carrying out delivery routes, through data analysis, identifying obstacles and problem spots, and implementing effective and well-defined standards. These improvements must be balanced with business needs and take into account key operational metrics. Effective stakeholder management skills are essential to balance these competing priorities and delivering effective solutions for our customers and drivers.
Key job responsibilities
Support long-term strategic planning to improve quality and efficiency.
- Work closely with the areas of finance, marketing, capacity management, operations, engineering, and program management on process improvement and launch initiatives.
- Develop, implement, and oversee reports, ensuring clear visibility of project milestones and performance.
- Effectively influence stakeholders through collaboration and effective prioritization.
- Be responsible for key performance indicators and work closely with stakeholders to understand everyday opportunities and challenges in order to implement short and long-term solutions.
- Monitor the execution of projects and ensure that the delivery is at the appropriate quality level and in compliance with the expected deadline.
- Navigate and resolve ambiguities by applying creative problem solving skills.
- Identify and mitigate risks, preventing them from becoming larger problems.
About the team
Amazon Flex's Advocacy Operations (AO) team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Program Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of Amazon Flex programs and initiatives worldwide. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for defining and executing the program roadmap for the Advocacy Operations, translating strategic goals into structured programs, aligning stakeholders, and driving initiatives to completion across a complex, multi-marketplace landscape.
You will own programs end to end, shaping the charter and success metrics, building mechanisms and roadmaps, managing dependencies and risks, and reporting progress to senior leadership. Throughout this process you will drive continuous innovation and improvement to deliver fast, easy, and rich functionality that supports a best-in-class Delivery Partner (DP) and customer experience. A critical part of this role is working across teams and marketplaces. You will partner with Operations, Analytics, Tech/Product, Finance, Legal, and Compliance stakeholders, and coordinate with regional teams across worldwide Flex-enabled marketplaces (US, CA, UK, IN, JP, AU, SG, MX, BR), to align priorities, drive consistent execution, and land programs that scale globally while respecting local nuances. You will lead through influence rather than direct authority aligned on shared goals across DP lifecycle, bulk communications, compliance workflows, and programmatic support.
You will play a pivotal role in defining and delivering strategic automation initiatives, identifying opportunities to build long-term, scalable solutions that eliminate manual work without negatively impacting the DP experience. You will establish the mechanisms, standards, and reporting cadences that keep programs on track and give leadership clear visibility into progress, risks, and outcomes.
