We are looking for a Program Manager to join our PMO team. In this role, you will own a portfolio of complex, multi-workstream data and AI programs, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and with clear business value for our largest strategic customers. You will build structure around ambiguity, driving disciplined governance, financial performance, and continuous improvement across your programs. You will collaborate closely with client executives, internal sales and delivery leadership, architects, engineers, and partner stakeholders to align roadmaps, mitigate risks, and advance phData's delivery excellence.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Program Manager to join our PMO team. In this role, you will own a portfolio of complex, multi-workstream data and AI programs, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and with clear business value for our largest strategic customers. You will build structure around ambiguity, driving disciplined governance, financial performance, and continuous improvement across your programs. You will collaborate closely with client executives, internal sales and delivery leadership, architects, engineers, and partner stakeholders to align roadmaps, mitigate risks, and advance phData's delivery excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of large, strategic data and AI programs across multiple workstreams, ensuring clear scope, measurable outcomes, and on-time, on-budget execution for enterprise customers.

  • Partner with sales, account leadership, and technical delivery teams to translate client strategy into actionable roadmaps, aligning architecture and engineering work with measurable business value and ROI.
  • Drive portfolio financial performance by owning revenue targets, margin management, forecasting, and reporting, and by identifying and executing levers to improve profitability and utilization.
  • Build, mentor, and guide high-performing, multidisciplinary teams, fostering accountability, psychological safety, and continuous improvement in how we deliver data and AI solutions.

About You

You are a collaborative delivery leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced, outcomes-driven environment. You are comfortable operating in distributed, global teams and partnering with colleagues across time zones.

Required Qualifications

Experience

  • 10+ years of Technical Program Management delivering complex, multi-workstream initiatives.
  • Hands-on ownership of customer relationships, timelines, scope, budgets, and resources (architects and engineers) for data and AI projects across technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, Fivetran, Power BI, Tableau, and Sigma.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple customers concurrently while maintaining 85%+ billable utilization, with a consistent record of on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • People management experience leading high-performance teams.
  • Direct client-facing experience in a consulting or professional services organization, including navigating complex stakeholder landscapes.
  • Demonstrated experience bringing structure to ambiguity, anticipating and surfacing risks early, uniting distributed teams, and leading difficult conversations with clarity, empathy, and accountability.

Technical / Functional Skills

  • Hands-on portfolio/program management expertise with Agile methodologies and strong understanding of Waterfall, including the ability to select and tailor SDLC approaches to complex, multi-workstream programs.
  • Strong proficiency with Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, and Microsoft 365 (including advanced Excel usage for planning, tracking, and reporting).
  • Proven ability to design and run rigorous governance frameworks, including operating cadences, RACI, and risk/issue/decision/change management.
  • Strong technical and process documentation skills, producing clear, executive-ready materials and status updates for C-level stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand modern data and AI solution architectures (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, BI tools) at a conceptual level to scope work, manage dependencies, and communicate effectively with architects and engineers.
  • Highly organized and self-directed, with excellent time management, prioritization, analytical, decision-making, and critical-thinking skills.

Education - If desired

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related technical field.
  • PMP and CSM certifications; additional relevant credentials are a plus.
  • Prior hands-on experience delivering data or analytics solutions on Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, Fivetran, Power BI, Tableau, or Sigma.
  • Exposure to AI/ML project delivery, including partnering closely with data scientists and ML engineers and understanding model lifecycle and MLOps concepts.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP at the architecture and governance level, particularly for data and AI workloads.
