The Program Manager plays a critical role in driving the successful execution of strategic product initiatives across the organization. This role serves as the connective tissue between Product, Engineering, Design, Operations, and Go-to-Market teams, ensuring alignment from strategy through delivery. The ideal candidate combines strong program management expertise with a background in product management and engineering, enabling them to navigate technical complexity, influence decision-making, and accelerate business outcomes.

What you’ll do & how you’ll make your mark.

Product & Program Leadership

  • Lead complex, cross-functional product and technology initiatives from concept through launch and adoption
  • Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to translate business objectives into executable plans and measurable outcomes
  • Drive alignment across stakeholders, balancing customer needs, technical constraints, and business priorities
  • Help define and operationalize processes that improve product development velocity and predictability

Strategic Planning & Roadmap Execution

  • Collaborate with Product Management to support roadmap planning, prioritization, and delivery sequencing
  • Ensure dependencies, resource needs, risks, and trade-offs are identified and addressed proactively
  • Facilitate quarterly and annual planning processes across Product and Engineering organizations
  • Monitor initiative progress against business goals, milestones, and success metrics

Cross-Functional Delivery

  • Coordinate execution across Product, Engineering, UX, Marketing, Operations, and Customer-facing teams
  • Drive accountability for deliverables while maintaining focus on customer impact and business value
  • Remove obstacles, resolve cross-team dependencies, and enable teams to deliver efficiently at scale
  • Support launch readiness activities and post-launch performance reviews

Technical Program Management

  • Partner closely with engineering teams to understand architecture, platform investments, and technical dependencies
  • Facilitate discussions involving system design, technical debt, scalability, reliability, and platform modernization
  • Ensure technical initiatives remain aligned with product strategy and organizational objectives
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear business context for executive and non-technical stakeholders

Stakeholder Communication & Reporting

  • Build executive-level visibility into program health, roadmap progress, risks, and key decisions
  • Develop concise status updates, business reviews, and leadership presentations
  • Drive governance processes and decision-making frameworks for strategic initiatives
  • Proactively escalate risks and provide actionable recommendations

Process, Tools & Continuous Improvement

  • Own and maintain program artifacts, roadmaps, project plans, and documentation within Jira and Confluence
  • Establish and enforce best practices for work management, sprint planning, dependency tracking, reporting, and documentation across Product and Engineering teams
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and workflow processes that provide visibility into roadmap progress, delivery health, and team performance
  • Drive improvements in planning, estimation, prioritization, and execution processes
  • Champion data-driven decision-making and operational excellence across Product and Engineering teams

Who you are & what you’ll need to succeed.

  • 5-7+ years of experience in Program Management within SaaS, hosting, cloud, eCommerce, FinTech, or technology-driven organizations
  • Demonstrated success driving operational rigor, visibility, and scalable execution across Product and Engineering organizations.
  • Expert-level proficiency with Jira and Confluence, including experience managing roadmaps, backlogs, sprint planning, dependency tracking, reporting dashboards, workflow configuration, and cross-functional documentation
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional product and technical programs from strategy through execution
  • Familiarity with product-led growth, platform engineering, developer tools, or customer-facing digital products
  • Strong understanding of product development lifecycles, software engineering practices, and Agile methodologies
  • Ability to partner effectively with Product Managers, Engineering Leaders, Architects, and Executive stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience driving roadmap execution, managing dependencies, and delivering customer-facing products
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a bias toward action and results
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, influence without direct authority, and align diverse stakeholder groups
