Production Technician

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

• Ensure that safety precautions and system implemented are well maintained and that all personal on site abide by these precautions and system. Prevent any safety at-risk situation, potential violations and incidents whenever feasible.
• Ensure that plant equipments and processes are performing optimally within operational limits through process monitoring and analysis. Responsible for and take initiative in process restoration, maintaining of optimal operation and providing technical guidance to newer technical staff on site
• Communicate with client, external entities and internal departments professionally, prevent any client’s, external entities or cross-departmental upset and maintain good working relationship whenever feasible.
• Ensure that quality, safety and environmental standards are well maintained for all processes on site and prevent any non-conforming scenarios whenever feasible
• Perform technical responsibility with professionalism through appropriate effective process troubleshooting, constructive process improvisation and responsive in his/her individual work assignment

Are you a MATCH?

• Diploma, Higher Nitec, or Nitec in Chemical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 1 to 3 years of relevant working experience in a similar technical or plant operations role.
• Resourceful and analytical technician skilled at troubleshooting complex issues using available tools and practical problem-solving.
• Ability to interpret and read Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) and understand basic engineering units
• Willingness and capability to work on a rotating shift schedule.  
• Willing and able to perform overtime work based on operational needs.
