Production Planner

Fiber Glass Systems (Qingdao) Composite Piping Co., Ltd. seeks a detail‑oriented Planner.Operations.II to develop and execute daily production schedules. Working under the Planning & Scheduling Supervisor, you will coordinate with the production department, ensure alignment with customer orders, and help optimize manufacturing flow in a fast‑paced composite piping environment.

• Formulate daily production plans based on customer orders, inventory levels, and capacity constraints.
• Collaborate with the Planning & Scheduling Supervisor to adjust schedules for material shortages or equipment downtime.
• Communicate production targets and changes to shop floor supervisors and operators.
• Monitor progress against the plan and flag deviations for corrective action.
• Update and maintain production planning software and related documentation.
• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards in all planning activities.
• Assist in the preparation of weekly and monthly production reports for management.
• Coordinate with procurement to align material deliveries with the production schedule.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as lean manufacturing and Kaizen events.

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in production planning or operations scheduling, preferably in composites or pipe manufacturing.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data handling.
• Fluent in Mandarin; English proficiency preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible hours to support production needs.
