Product Stability Test Engineer

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities :

·        Perform mobile handset/product stability testing.

·        Execute manual and automated test cases.

·        Develop and maintain test harnesses for product testing and automation.

·        Use QC tools for test execution, defect tracking, and analysis.

·        Analyze test failures and support root-cause analysis.

·        Perform regression, stability, and reliability testing.

·        Document test results, defects, and test reports.

Work closely with software and hardware teams to identify and resolve issues

Qualifications

Educational qualification:

B.E./B.Tech – Computer Science / Electronics & Communication / related engineering discipline

Experience : 1 - 3

Mandatory/requires Skills :

·        1–3 years of experience in product testing / mobile handset testing.

·        Good knowledge of manual and automation testing.

·        Experience using or developing test harnesses.

·        Knowledge of QC tools and defect management.

·        Basic scripting/programming knowledge such as Python is preferred.

·        Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.

·        Good communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills :
·        Experience with Android/mobile device testing.

·        Knowledge of ADB and log analysis.

·        Exposure to stability, stress, soak, and regression testing.

·        Experience with JIRA or similar defect tracking tools.

·        Exposure to test automation frameworks is an advantage.
